2009 SUMMER SCHOOL

All applications must be filled out online by the student’s Teacher of the Visually Impaired. Please talk to your student and his/her parents first to see which classes they want to apply for. Read class descriptions carefully to be sure they are appropriate for your student and offered at a time he or she can attend.

If this student already has an online application (e.g., the TVI filled one out last summer or for a 2008-09 Short-Term Program), simply update it and select the classes you want for Summer 2009. If a student with an existing online application is assigned to a different TVI but is now your student, send an email to JR Woods at WoodsJ@tsbvi.edu and he will switch the student to your name.

Any visually impaired student can apply for our summer programs. It does not require an ARD or district referral. There is no cost to the district or parent, although parents need to assure transportation to and from Austin.

Parents, if you want your child to attend a summer program, please make sure his or her Teacher of the Visually Impaired fills out this application by the February 14 deadline.
